The Heart Behind Coconut Glow Candle Co.

Hi, I'm Christina — maker, ocean lover, mom, and the hands behind every candle and concrete vessel you'll find here at Coconut Glow Candle Co.

By day, I work as an X-ray Technologist at the VA Hospital, where I have the honor of caring for our veterans and supporting people through some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. When I step out of the hospital and kick off my scrubs, I step into my second world — pouring candles, creating coastal-inspired fragrances, and hand-crafting concrete containers that feel like pieces of the beach you can hold.

I'm a mom to a beautiful daughter and lucky enough to have 4 bonus kids in my life. I share this journey with my best friend and biggest encourager, my boyfriend Shane, and we're never without the company of our 4 dogs — who are basically the unofficial candle-quality-control team.

My inspiration has always come from the ocean — being out on the water, boats, salt air, sunsets, and the grounding feeling that only the sea can give. I wanted to capture that calm, that glow, that breath of peace — and pour it into candles that make home feel like a coastal escape.

What began as a small creative outlet turned into a true passion — especially when I started making my own concrete containers. Each one is unique — textured, imperfect in all the best ways — and created with intention. They are art pieces first, candles second, and I love that they live on long after the flame has burned.

Every candle I pour is for someone who needs:
